I am a retired software project manager who spent much of my career managing globally distributed teams in technology and entertainment, learning—along the way—to be nicer, if occasionally less effective. After retiring, I turned to a new kind of project: managing retirement as if it were my job.

My writing explores women and identity in retirement alongside leisure and busyness and the challenges we face in midlife—making friends, staying healthy, and finding joy. I am not day-drinking or doomscrolling, but you may find me sipping tea and writing in my dream journal. If you see me on the trails of Colorado, please tell your dog to stop and say hello.
